ALAMO CITY FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES STUDENT SHORT FILM CONTEST
Calling all student filmmakers, Alamo City Film Festival wants you! This year, we are taking our passion for film by launching the first annual Student Short Film Contest. There will be two categories: College and High School. Our panel of professional filmmakers will choose the top films from each category to be played at a public screening (TBA), where we will announce three winners from each category. The winning films will go on to screen at the Alamo City Film Festival in October.
Winners of the High School and College categories will receive access to production classes at Alamo City Studios, participation on a San Antonio Filmmakers’ set, and a collaborative session with a professional filmmaker for the students’ next film. Plus, all submissions are completely FREE!
How Do I Submit?
Email a password protected Vimeo or YouTube link of your film to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject as “High School or College: Name of Film”. Please include a point of contact and your school affiliation in the body of your submission email. All film submissions are due June 15, 2016.
What’s In It For You?
This competition will provide the opportunity for select students to screen their film at the Alamo City Film Festival, receive exclusive access to the San Antonio Film Studios and San Antonio’s best filmmakers!
